Sources and approval records
The library can include original assets, permission-confirmed submissions, approved public-profile references, and materials sourced from public libraries or accounts. We keep an internal approval and review record where available. When a precise license or attribution requirement is known, it should be recorded and followed.
What approval means
Approval means the image has been cleared for editorial use in this project based on the information available to us. It does not mean readers may copy, sell, train on, redistribute, or republish the image. Rights may remain with the photographer, model, platform, account holder, or another owner.
Editorial treatment
Images may be resized, compressed, converted to modern formats, or cropped for responsive presentation. We avoid changes that misrepresent the hairstyle. Captions describe the visible root color and placement in the context of the page. They do not identify a person unless that identity is relevant and authorized.
Attribution and corrections
If attribution is required and available, we aim to present it accurately. If you believe a credit is missing or incorrect, contact us with the page URL, image description, and supporting rights information.
Removal requests
Image concerns are handled through the separate image takedown policy. A clear request helps us locate and review the asset quickly.
